starting today, and every day between now and christmas eve, the white house says president obama is going to be doing some public thing every day to highlight good things about health reform, and to get people to sign up for insurance. december 23rd is the next big enrollment deadline for obama care, so the white house is taking on a new effort to fight back against the law's extremely loud critics. you can find of feel the change in tone from the white house on this subject already. they don't sound like they're playing defense on the subject anymore. the president gave a short kickoff speak about it this afternoon in washington, d.c., and i think it was telling this was the biggest applause line in the speech. >> i have always said i would work with anybody to implement and improve this law effectively. you have good ideas, bring them to me. let's go. but we're not repealing it as long as i'm president. i want everybody to be sure of that. >> on thursday this week, the venue will be different, the crowd bill probably be a little younger, and the president will be forced off script

since republicans took over the house, they have voted to repeal obama care 46 times! but they have stopped doing that now. since the shutdown, no more repeal obama care votes. repealing obama care now would mean they would be taking insurance from hundreds of thousands of americans. when they come back in january, it will be hundreds of thousands more americans who not just don't have just the promise of health insurance, but who are actually experiencing health insurance coverage, many of them for the first time in their lives. voting to repeal obama care was an expression of pure ideological exuberance for the first two or three or four dozen times that they took that vote, but now that people are getting covered, it's not that kind of vote anymore, and so, they're not taking that vote anymore. and so, now, what are they going to do with their time? six whole days to fill for the month of december. there's an interesting question when they've got in a way a small amount of time left between now and the end of the year, but six days for them. what are they going to f

well, despite all of the controversy, president obama says he's still moving forward with the health care law. in fact, the white house announced that residents of florida will have 102 different insurance options when obamacare rolls out. yeah. because that's one thing we know people in florida love, it is confusing number of options. that's going to work. [ laughter and applause ] that's going to work out perfect. this is kind of cool if you watch a lot of youtube videos like i do. turns out that youtube is revamping the comments section on videos to filter out negative feedback. i think it is working. look at the comments section without any negative posts. isn't that nice? [ laughter and applause ] no negative. that's right, youtube is filtering out negative comments. which explains why comments like, "this sucks," are replaced by more positive ones like, "this is great at sucking." [ laughter ] it is great. i don't know if you guys saw this. if you were at the yankee game last night, it was supposed to be mariano rivera bobble head night. and everybody there was excited for it.
